- Friday 4th to Monday 7th May:

National Baptist Assembly in UK at Westminster Central Hall, London . Steve and Sarah will be representing Ainon .

- Thursday 10th May at 7pm at Ainon:

Prayer and Planning meeting for the Neath TORCH Group for the blind and visually-impaired.

- Friday 11th May at 7pm:

Monthly Deacons' meeting

- 13th to 19th May:

Christian Aid Week

- Thursday 17th May:

Annual General Meeting of the church. All who worship at Ainon are asked to make every effort to attend this important meeting in the life of the church.

- Sat 19th May 2:30pm to 4pm:

Monthly TORCH Fellowship Group for the blind and visually-impaired .( The afternoon includes worship, fellowship and food.) Able-bodied and sighted folk from Ainon are encouraged to attend one of these monthly meetings and to get to meet some local folk with vision problems. All are welcome.

- Tuesday 22nd May:

Special Meeting of the South Wales Baptist Association : 7pm at Riverside Baptist Church, Port Talbot.

- Sat 26th May: 3:30pm to 5:30pm:

The Olympic TORCH Relay passes through Neath. We have been asked as a church by the Neath Churches Together group to support the two churches in the Melyn ( Elim and The Methodist Church, Stockham's corner, by whose premises the TORCH will pass), by being part of the crowd celebrating on the day and by lending a practical hand that afternoon in and around their premises , as directed by those churches.

- Monday 28th to Wed 30th:

Half-yearly meetings of the West Glamorgan Baptist Association at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Cwmrhydyceirw, Swansea.

ADVANCE NOTICE:

Friday 15th - Sat 16th June: The Baptist Assembly in Wales: " Momentum". This conference taking place in Carmarthen will give Christians who worship in Baptist Churches in Wales an opportunity to hear inspirational teaching and share in times of worship. There will also be seminars, small group discussions and chances to share encouraging stories of how God has been working. This year the speakers include Ben Cooley from Hope for Justice and Marc Owen from the Baptist Union of Wales. If anybody is interested in accompanying Steve to one or both days of the conference then please speak to him.
